I’m so excited to be a part of the Balingup Small Farm Field Day event this April - that’s right - My Nonna Life is hitting the road!

The Balingup Small Farm Field Day commenced in 1991 and showcases the many aspects of small farming. From land care and animal care, growing trees and food and cooking with fresh local ingredients, this event helps to build a positive and resilient community with sustainable farming practices - offering something for everyone.

The 2025 event “Back to Basics” is taking place on Saturday 12th April. You can pre-buy your tickets now.

Do you have gluts from your garden and not sure what to do with your excess produce? Or perhaps you would like to reduce your food waste, or learn new skills? This instructional talk is geared towards those brand new to food preserving or those who have dabbled in the past. Amy from My Nonna Life will provide insight into different methods of food preserving, as well as tips and tricks to get you started on your journey.
